Tess summer 2009

I've been doing
lots of competitions over the summer with Tess - this
picture shows her running in the scurry at the Cheshire Game Fair
(she came 2nd). She also won a prize with Sam as
Junior Dog Handler and got a 2nd for the waggiest
tail (great as she's only got a stump!).
She's now doing fantastic at dog agility and has just won a
1st in a competition against 20 other dogs.
Bodelwyddan Game Fair

Last weekend we
went to the Bodelwyddan game fair with Tess. Her
training has been improving recently and we thought we
would enter her into an obstacle course. Last year we
entered her into the same course, she failed miserably
after taking one look at the metre high hay bales and
then escaping through the crowd. This year, however,
she was a lot better! She cleared all the bales, found
the dummy and came back over the bales. However she
then decided to lie on top of the last bale and play
with the dummy whilst entertaining the onlookers. After
a lot of persuasion she climbed off the bail and
trotted over the line. Although she didn't win she was
better than I expected!
Cornwall (May)

We have just been
on holiday to Cornwall. This is the tenth year we have
been to James's farm but this year it has
moved from Newquay to Wadebridge. Although we are
away from some of my favourite beaches, I love the
new farm! On this picture I am cantering up one of
the hills on Jessie. Thank you very much James,
Tracey and the rest on farmer James's!
Best Books (April)

I love these books!
They are by Louise Rennison who is the best selling
author of the confessions of Georgia Nicolson series. I
love them because they are very funny and teenage girls
can relate to them. I would recommend them to any one
age 12-15 as they are very good. Most people in my
school have seen the film Angus Thongs and Perfect
Snogging which is based on the first two books out of
the ten book series. Any one who loves these books
