Holyhead Mountain via Breakwater Country Park

Our 2nd time up Holyhead Mountain, this time starting from Breakwater Country Park (photo above). On this side of the mountain it's a really pretty and spectacular coastline, and it's also a lot more sheltered from the wind. Still a hard slog to the top of the mountain for some of our old (or in Sam's case little) legs.
Breakwater Country Park is the remains of an old quarry which supplied stone for the 2.39km (1.5 mile) Holyhead Breakwater, the longest in Europe, which was built between 1846 and 1873.
